Emma Keider is New Sedona Chamber Communications Manager

NAU grad brings training, local knowledge to Chamber messaging

The Sedona Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau has announced the hiring of Emma Keider as Communications Manager. In her new position, Keider will be responsible for internal and external communications, creating and implementing the Chamber Communication Plan and maintaining the Chamber’s messaging strategies across all mediums. She will manage multi-platform content, collaborate with local and national media, manage the Chamber’s social media and serve as a liaison with community and Chamber partners.

“I’m excited to welcome Emma to the Sedona Chamber team,” Chamber President and CEO Jennifer Wesselhoff said. “Her educational achievements position her perfectly for her new role. Her deep knowledge and passion for Sedona will help guide our communications with residents, local businesses and visitors.”

A Sedona resident for 15 years, Keider was awarded an academic scholarship from Northern Arizona University and graduated with a double major in Strategic Communications with an Emphasis in Public Relations and Journalism. While attending NAU, she built a strong communications resume working at Flagstaff’s Orpheum Theater, Stone Canyon Media and KJACK Radio at NAU. On winter breaks, she was a temporary employee in the City of Sedona Business Licensing Division.

Keider is a graduate of Sedona Red Rock High School, where she was the editor-in-chief of the high school’s newspaper. While attending high school, she worked with the Red Rock News learning content and design layout.

Keider is excited to be a part of the Chamber team and becoming more involved with Sedona civic life. “I look forward to collaborating with partners, residents and visitors to offer fresh, creative ideas,” Keider said. “My heart is in Sedona, and it is a dream come true to be part of the Chamber’s mission to make Sedona the best place to live, work, play and visit.”
