All Together Now at the Sedona Yoga Festival

All Together Now at the Sedona Yoga Festival

The biggest question of our time just might be “What does unity look like?” There are plenty of ways for us to explore what it means to be in a shared or unified space, and while technology has brought us closer together across the globe, we are still facing divisions that feel dire. The theme for the 11th annual Sedona Yoga Festival — the region’s premiere consciousness-raising conference — will explore what it means to be “All Together Now,” and how yoga can help.

Returning to the sacred landscape of Sedona’s energetic vortexes March 14 – 17, 2024 and held in the stunning Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock, SYF is more than an event; it’s a beacon for personal and collective evolution. From dynamic yoga classes and profound meditation sessions to insightful keynotes and immersive excursions, SYF offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore, connect and transform. Participants can expect to go deep. On-the-land experiences support you being in relationship with all that is, while letting go of what no longer serves you, amplified by Sedona’s expansive vortex energies.

The event offers something for everyone, whether you’re an absolute beginner practitioner or an advanced teacher, including CEUs for yoga professionals and SYF’s signature Trauma-Informed Training. The training will be led this year by Lara Land. Lara is a life coach, consultant, and yoga teacher trainer specializing in trauma sensitivity and has spent the last 25 years studying Ashtanga yoga and sharing yoga asana, chanting, meditation and philosophy directly from her teachers in India. In addition to providing trauma-sensitive workshops and training for facilitators of all types, Lara guides folks in awakening, deep connection and healing practices through Mindful Outdoor Guiding and Forest Therapy. Her work has been featured in New York Magazine, Huffington Post, Yoga Journal, Apartment Therapy and on Fox5, CBS, NY1, and SiriusXM. She is the author of “My Bliss Book” and “The Essential Guide to Trauma-Sensitive Yoga.” She is also the host of the Beyond Trauma Podcast.

Over 100 presenters include talents and offerings from Vedic scholars and yoga leaders to physicians and nutrition experts. These include — and are in no way limited to — Sianna Sherman, Jivana Heyman, DJ Sol Rising, Eoin Finn, Insiya Rasiwala-Finn, Dr. Manoj Chalam, Arundhati Baitmangalkar, Reggie Hubbard, DJ Taz Rashid, Paola Cruz, Danni Pomplun, Hemalayaa Behl and DTO. Find the working roster of luminaries here, and please note that the presenter lineup will be finalized by the beginning of February. Participants can expect to see the full schedule by mid-February. Stay tuned to the SYF website for the program evolution!

Music will also play an integral role in the event, from large-scale evening performances to participatory kirtan and DJs who custom-tailor music on the spot to yoga flows. Young practitioners will have an opportunity to participate through the donation-based Kids’ Yoga program, led by Executive Director of Yogic Studies at Sedona Sol Acupuncture & Ayurveda, Ana Hansen. “It’s such a unique offering,” Hansen said. “It’s an example of how dedicated SYF is to the Sedona community, and to the big picture of yoga. It’s a service that we give to our future.”

The 2024 event will be returning to the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock — a favorite location according to many of our returning participants — as well as the adjacent Collective Sedona. For participants to experience the event with ease and seamless movement, we have a limited number of deeply discounted rooms right on site, as well as in nearby Hilton properties. Learn more here.

“There are so many feelings about planning SYF2024 and looking back over the years since the first event in 2013,” says Producer and Co-Founder Heather Sanders. “While we have always said SYF is a conference with a festival feel, I expect 2024 to feel like a very large retreat. Attendees can expect to find themselves in a space that allows for them to explore deeply, both within and in relationship, as paths will cross multiple times with one another, and all their needs are addressed from the time they arrive.”
